POLIS D. POLYCARPOU

MENG., MSC., PGCE, FRAES, MILT

Executive Principal/Headmaster

Mr. Polycarpou began his tenure in September 2021, as the first non-Clerical head of our School. Himself once a student of our Greek School (graduating in 1992), Mr. Polycarpou worked for almost two decades in Merchant Banking, specialising in Aviation Finance. After retiring from the City, Mr. Polycarpou turned his hand to education, currently teaching Mathematics and Business at a Secondary School in neighbouring Enfield, where he is an Achievement Director, the Head of Department for Business, and a Staff Governor. 
Mr. Polycarpou serves as a Trustee of the St. Barnabas Greek Orthodox Community Fund (Charity number: 273104) and represents the Staff Body on the St. Barnabas School's Board of Governors.

MACHI PSARA NEOFYTOU

Deputy Headteacher

Mrs. Neofytou is the longest-serving member of staff at our School, with over 45 years of loyal service. Mrs Neofytou has introduced thousands of young members of our Community to the Greek language. Her primary classes and approach are renowned and iconic across the network of Greek Schools in the UK.

DIMITRIOS ANGELETOS

Head of School Governors

Mr. Angeletos serves as the Chair of our School's Parent Governors. Himself a teacher of many years - the Head of Sociology and Psychology at a school in neighbouring Enfield - Mr. Angeletos brings a host of educational experience and know-how to the running and development of our school. Mr Angeletos also serves as a Trustee of the St. Barnabas Greek Orthodox Community Fund.
