The 3D engine in FSX has been improved, making the sky more realistic and the visuals more polished. An and improved new scenery can be seen in FSUIPC. Add in the new weather engine and it's all 3D feel should be a bit of a reality for all of us. I'm ready for performance settings.
I will email all the different files that I used on my laptop to tell me that it is working and I am now getting 100+pilot statistics and high fiff (pilot safety). I am also weather aware and have ini files from some of the bigger weather packages. You can also open my ini files and change settings if you need./
Thanks very much for the support. As I said, I want to get TopCat working on my laptop, but Plan-G cannot connect to my network. One other problem I'm having is that I can't seem to log-in to the FSUIPC server. If I try and log in with the user ID and password that I use on my laptop, it says that the account is not available. When I click on Applications, Passwords, and Login it connects to the server, but I don't know what to do from there. I've read the support pages and I don't get it. No error messages are displayed, just that the account is not available. I've also tried with the same Login user ID and password on another account, and the same thing happens. If you could email me at hoebert.pc8@gmail.com with any suggestions, that would be very much appreciated.
Are the log files going to be of any use? I also just switched from ATi to nvidia so I have a whole new story about having to hack the shader files on my main PC so I can run my sims with the NVIDIA FX Series GPUs. I think you have all the info you need to get logged in and running. I have no clue how to get Plan-G working in my network, so I can't help you with that. d2c66b5586
